| This work, divided in three parts, intends to establish a synthesis of knowledge about electric sea fishing. Taxis and tetanus thresholds for stimuli. In the second part, fish behaviour in electric field is described to know what sort of stimuli are the most efficient. The third part shows a fishing gear with light, electric field and pump and sums up the results of I.S.T.P.M. studies. Different problems are discussed and theoretical efficiency of the device is evaluated for sardines, Sardina pilchardus. At last, foreign studies about electric beam trawl are approached in an annex part. |
